I can't say in which city i am staying in at the moment simply because it is just too nice and too quiet to share!
Let's just say it is an Harbour town and it has been inspiring me a lot.
In July, I tried to paint the harbour in a non abstract way;which is quite unusual since I have only been concentrating on painting abstract since a year now. It took me 4 hours to do this. It may look average and not like a lot of work, but knowing the short span attention problem that i have, it is a lot.
In fairness, I don't like it much. But it has the merit to be different to what I have done so far. It is a triptych.
Below are Smaller versions of Maritime Landscapes...18 by 24 cms.
The one below called "Paradise Storm" is actually sold, to a young British man ( 14 years old) who liked it and bought it from me! This one I loved.
The one below is called "Boats Resting in Sunset" and I don't much like it- 18 x 24 cms.
I sold this one which I positively disliked! I didn't think it was even completed. But there it is.
This one is called "the wave."
More to come!
