The new laptop

I should be delighted. I have received my new laptop today.
But I am not. I am so not.
It is bulky. Heavy. And Wide.
This was supposed to be the dream laptop. My new surfboard to writing.
The newest coolest tool I will ever get to have as a writer.
And I went for this! FOR THIS! THIS IRONING BOARD!!!! THIS ANVIL!
I won't fly away with that! I will just sink!
I should have never ordered it online!
I should HAVE checked the weight! I thought 2.6 kgs was light enough. It isn't!
It is really heavy. But I was told by "someone" that you had to have a Dell.
Because Dell lasts. And Dell make good manufactures products and Dell is the best...bla bla bla...
But Dell makes flat black anvils.
Okay I didn't want to go for fancy tricks, for esthetics and for the glitter of looks.
I wanted something sturdy and efficient and serious. But if I wanted something light as well.
Well I don't think I will be moving around much in the streets of Dublin with this one. Except maybe if I want to work on my biceps or step up from one side of the road to the pavement. It could help then.
Oh the sourness of disappointment.
Well I will just have to make do I suppose.
And start writing away.
